Softball NSW is calling for officials to assist with the NSW Open Men’s Pathway program.

The team was chosen following the Over 35 State Camp held on March 7th 2021. This team will now undergo a series of trainings in the build up to the Over 35 National Championships.

Softball NSW would like to congratulate the following Athletes and Officials that have been named in the NSW Over 35 Women’s Team. The team was chosen following the Over 35 Women’s State Camp held on March 7th 2021. This team will now undergo a series of trainings in the build up to the Over 35 National Championships.

The team was chosen following the 23 & Under State Championships held on February 27-28. This squad will now undergo a series of trainings before taking part in the Under 23 National Championships.

Softball NSW is looking for enthusiastic officials to take up the challenge of being involved with the 2021 NSW Teams. We have several roles vacant. Please see below:
2021 NSW UNDER 16 BOYS STATE SQUAD ANNOUNCED
Athletes were chosen following the selection camp held on February 20-21. These teams will now commence training towards participating in the 2021 Interstate Softball Challenge to be held in Lismore from April 14-17.

Athletes were chosen following the selection camp held on February 20-21. These teams will now commence training towards participating in the 2021 Interstate Softball Challenge to be held in Lismore from April 14-17.
2021 NSW UNDER 18 MEN’S & WOMEN’S PATHWAY PROGRAM ATHLETES NAMED
Athletes were chosen following the selection camp held on February 6-7. These teams will now commence training as part of the NSW Under 18 Pathways Program.
RESCHEDULED: 2021 23 & UNDER STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Softball NSW wishes to advise that following consultation with the participating Affiliates, the 2021 23 & Under State Championships have been rescheduled to Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February at Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP). We appreciate that the final decision was in consideration of all feedback received, and this rescheduled date was the preferred choice for the majority of participating teams / Affiliates.
NSWCHS TEAMS NAMED
Softball NSW would like to congratulate the following players and officials on their selection into the NSWCHS Red and Blue teams. Teams were chosen following the Secondary Softball – Grils Championships held from the 9th – 11th February 2021.
23 & UNDER STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021 – WET WEATHER ADVICE
Unfortunately, the continued rain overnight and into this morning has rendered the diamonds at Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP) unplayable. Combined with the Women’s washouts last night, all scheduled fixtures for Saturday 13 February 2021 for the 23 & Under State Championships have been abandoned.

With the current weather and its predicted forecast for the Greater Sydney Region, Softball NSW wishes to advise that the potential recommencement of the 2021 23 & Under State Championships is still under review.

Given the continuing weather conditions across the Greater Sydney Region, and in consultation with several Affiliates, it is with great disappointment that Softball NSW postpones the 2021 23 & Under State Championships this weekend.

Our Sporting School Programs are available and starting immediately across NSW. Softball NSW is looking for passionate coaches to help deliver the Sporting Schools program across the state.
