UPDATE: Greater Sydney Lockdown & Related Event Rescheduling
Softball NSW provides the following advice to our Associations, Clubs & Stakeholders in relation to the extension of the lockdown in Greater Sydney and also provides information in relation to the Pathways, State Championships, and rescheduling of the Under 12 State Championships.
Community Advice: Restrictions & Softball Participation
Softball NSW provides the following update in relation to the tightening of restrictions across numerous local government areas in both Greater Sydney and Regional NSW. We provide this information to aid our community and their membership. As always, please refer regularly to the information provided by the NSW Government and NSW Health. 2022/23 STATE TEAM MANAGEMENT EOIS
Following the announcement of the 2022/23 state team management staff earlier this week, Softball NSW is seeking EOIs for all the vacant positions from the same.
COACHING APPOINTMENT: NSW UNDER 14 GIRLS
Donna McGrath, Marsheal Walker and Greg Trevena have been appointed as head coaches of the NSW Under 14 Girls' team for 2022 & 2023. They share their insights on coaching as well as playing at this level.
COACHING APPOINTMENT: NSW UNDER 14 BOYS
Neil Taimalie, Eddie Cashen and Steven Albee have been appointed as head coaches of the NSW Under 14 Boys' team for 2022 & 2023. They share their insights on coaching as well as playing at this level.

2021 Open Women’s State Championship Rescheduled
Softball NSW wishes to advise that following consultation with Affiliates, and with the continued COVID-19 lockdown conditions in Greater Sydney, the 2021 Open Women’s State Championship has
been rescheduled from Friday 13, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 August to Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September at Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP).
Blue Blaze 2021 - Tournament details
The 2021 Blue Blaze Tournament will be held on the following dates: Girls Tournament: Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 September 2021
Boys Tournament: Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 September 2021
2021 Open Men’s State Championships Rescheduled
Softball NSW wishes to advise that following consultation with Affiliates, and with the continued COVID-19 lockdown conditions in Greater Sydney, the 2021 Open Men’s State Championship has been rescheduled from Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August to Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August at Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP),
Community Advice - Greater Sydney Lockdown Extension
Given the growing number of infectious cases in the community and unlinked cases of community transmission of COVID, the NSW Government has announced the current lockdown will be extended for at least another two weeks until 11:59 pm on Friday, 30 July.
