Following rough weather that has impacted all four diamonds, Softball NSW has made the difficult decision of cancelling the 2022 Over 35 State Championships.
The first State Championships of 2022 featured five teams in the Men's edition & nine teams in the Women's edition battle it out for the 23 & Under title.
Following rough weather from last night, Diamond 1 is not playable for the 9:00am timeslot, and the Georges River vs. Orange Men’s game scheduled there this morning has been moved to Diamond 2. As a result, no games will be live-streamed until 11:00 am today (weather permitting).
The 2021 Open State Championships were played between December 17 to December 19 at Blacktown International Sportspark as well as Stanhope Gardens Softball Fields.
Hosted by Cumberland Nepean Softball Association, the 2021 Under 12 State Championships had plenty to offer for both athletes & attendees across the weekend.
Softball NSW can confirm that Stanhope Gardens Softball Fields will host the semi-finals of the 2021 Open State Championships. The Grand Finals will be hosted by Blacktown International Sportspark at 7:30pm this evening.
