As we continue to be challenged during these unprecedented times, I want to congratulate everyone for working together to get our sport back on the diamond around the State. I am especially proud of what an extraordinary community Softball in NSW is!

I wish to express my most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our Affiliates, Volunteers, Officials, Players & Spectators. You are all setting an extraordinary example of patience, commitment, and solidarity. You are the best guarantee that Softball NSW will emerge from the events of the past year stronger.

So much has changed this past year – the world around us, our community, the places we work and call home. Life in the midst of COVID-19 has sparked fear, frustration, and anxiety all around. Our membership have shown extraordinary resilience and patience in managing these challenges and significant changes to continually move forward and it has been truly amazing.

I am overwhelmed by the unquestionable strength and character of our community. Like many sports, we have been so encouraged by the support we have received throughout the year. The messages of gratitude, acts of generosity and words of encouragement are powerful affirmations for the whole Softball NSW organisation. THANK YOU.

An exciting 2021 is on the horizon, with a renewed focus on engagement, participation, innovation, and technology. We look forward to sharing the journey as we move forward in leaps and bounds.
