CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: EVENTS & FACILITIES COORDINATOR AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Softball NSW is now recruiting for two positions in the Events & Facilities Coordinator and Development Officer.

Events & Facilities Coordinator

The position of Events & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the management and delivery of Softball NSW Events and management of the home of Softball NSW-the Softball Centre, Blacktown International Sportspark. The Events & Facilities Coordinator also assists Associations in the development and growth of the sport of Softball, working with Committees, to maximize opportunities for Softball to be a first-choice sport among current and perspective participants.

The position has a focus towards an important role in increasing both the quality and quantity of events, stakeholder engagement and management with facilities, umpires, scorers and volunteers of all ages as well the quality of domestic competitions. The Events & Facilities Coordinator will be involved from Clubs to Association and through to the elite level.

Development Officer

The position of Development Officer is responsible for the management and delivery of Softball NSW promotional, development and education programs for playing, coaching, umpiring and scoring throughout the state. The Development Officer also assists Associations in the development of the sport of Softball, working with other Development Officers and Association Committees, to maximize opportunities for Softball to be a first-choice sport among current and perspective participants.

The position has a focus towards an important role in increasing both the quality and quantity of players, coaches, umpires, scorers and volunteers of all ages as well the quality of domestic competitions. The Development Officer will be involved from grass root to elite level.
