After a spectacular Under 18 State Championships over the June long weekend last year featuring some of the brightest talents within this age category from across the state, this year's Under 18 State Championships will be hosted across separate championship weekends. The Under 18 Girls' State Championship will feature this coming weekend, setting the stage for a Championship of high-quality and competitive softball.

WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR? 

Softball NSW hosted the 2022 edition of the Under 18 Girls' State Championship at Blacktown International Sportspark. The Championship featured twelve teams from across the state split into two separate pools with high-quality and competitive softball on display. The Grand final featured both Cumberland Nepean and Manly Warringah, with Cumberland Nepean prevailing 2-0 in a tightly contested game of softball. 

VENUE INFORMATION - BISP

All players, officials and spectators are required to park in the allocated carpark at the venue. Entry is via Gate A at Blacktown International Sportspark. Entry and exit to the Softball Centre and diamonds will be via the main entry gates only (entry off the main carpark). Please be aware that construction works for the International Centre of Training Excellence (ICTE) behind the Softball Centre may impact parking and ease of access to the Softball carpark.

The canteen and BBQ will be open, with only card-based payments accepted. The coffee van will also be operational at the grounds, next to the entrance on Diamond 1. Too Cheezy Woodfired Pizzas will be in attendance on both Saturday and Sunday, located next to the entrance on Diamond 1.

PHOTOGRAPHY & LIVESTREAM

Throughout the duration of the Under 18 Girls' State Championship, Softball NSW staff and media volunteers will be on site capturing the event for Softball NSW purposes. In addition, team photos can be undertaken per request.

All games on Diamond 1 will be live-streamed across the duration of the tournament.

MERCHANDISE SALE 

Merchandise specific to the 2023 Under 18 State Championships will be released publicly for order on Friday 16 June 2023.

Players, officials and spectators are welcome to try on sample sizes at the Championship this weekend at Blacktown International Sportspark before placing an order online. Generic Softball NSW merchandise will be available for sale at the Championship, near the Softball NSW office at Blacktown International Sportspark.
