2023 Softball NSW Waratah League - Review

After a ten-year hiatus Softball NSW brought back the prestigious Waratah League in 2023, hosted across various Associations in metropolitan Sydney and Blacktown International Sportspark. The competition featured eleven teams across both the men's and women's competitions, setting the stage for two months of high quality and competitive softball.

Participating Men's Teams - Dolphins, Thunderbirds, Titans, Tropics and United.

Participating Women's Teams - Cumberland Force, Hills, Manly Eaglets, Northern Titans and United Flames.

Grand Finals

The Men's Grand Final for the 2023 Waratah League competition featured Dolphins and Tropics in a tightly contested match of softball, going down to the wire in a double tiebreaker, with Dolphins prevailing 5-4 over Tropics. The Women's 2023 Waratah League Grand Final featured both the Manly Eaglets and Northern Titans in the battle of rivals, with Northern Titans coming out on top 4-2 in a thrilling game of softball.
